Nitor Fit for Android
It blocks the apps that hook you….. and unlocks them with exercise.
🤖 Now on Google Play

How it works
Three steps. No accounts, no sign-up, and nothing ever leaves your phone.
1. You choose what to block
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, games… whichever ones get away from you. When you try to open them, Nitor steps in front.
2. You move to open them
Press-ups, squats or steps. The camera counts the reps on its own and calls them out loud. And for the days you can’t face it, the Daily Reset: nine gentle guided movements, no floor and no kit.
3. You earn minutes
Every rep is worth minutes of use. And Nitor, your creature, grows with every effort.
What it will ask for when you install it
We’re telling you up front so it doesn’t catch you out. Android won’t let one app block another unless you expressly allow it, and that’s a good thing: it’s your phone.
- Usage access. This is what lets Nitor know which app you’ve just opened. Without it, it can’t block anything.
- Display over other apps. This is what lets it step in front when you open a blocked app.
- Camera. Only while it’s counting reps. It records nothing.
- Physical activity. Optional, and only if you want your steps to earn you minutes.
The first two are switched on in Android’s own settings, not in the app: Nitor walks you to the right screen. It takes two minutes and you only do it once.
You’ll also see a permanent notification from Nitor. It isn’t a bug and it isn’t an advert: Android requires it so an app can keep watching the block in the background. Remove it and the blocking stops working.
Everything stays on your phone
No accounts. No sign-up. No servers.
The camera reads your posture in the moment and records nothing, sends nothing. And with steps we only see the number: no GPS, and we’ve no idea where you’ve been.
Price
You can use Nitor Fit free by blocking one app.
And if you want to block as many as you like, there’s Nitor Pro:
- €2.99 a month
- €19.99 a year (works out at €1.67 a month)
- €49 one-off payment, launch offer
With a 7-day free trial on the subscriptions. Cancel whenever you like from Google Play.
How is it different from the iPhone one?
Hardly at all. App blocking, the camera counter, minutes from steps, the Daily Reset, night blocking and the creature all work the same on both.
The one difference today is that the Android version doesn’t have a widget yet. On iPhone you can see Nitor and your minutes from the home screen without opening the app; on Android, for now, you have to open it.
Start today, for free
Download it, pick the app that hooks you most, and next time you want to open it, you’ll have to move first.
